Not a preferred marina, but if you want to take your boat to Pelee it is the only marina on the island. Please note, there is NOT potable water at the marina. It is hard to find drinkable water, other than bottled water, on the island.
The marina itself is adequate, although the current management doesn't seem to prioritize attending to inexpensive details like cleanliness. There is the normal dockage and electricity. There are bathrooms and showers, although are a bit dated. The marina did not clean them daily. The water also gives off an unpleasant odor. There is no wi-fi, although the island now has fiber and the marina manager said they may be adding it (there is very little wi-fi on the island, for example, the Stone House does not offer it).
The marina building itself is relatively small compared to many mainland marinas that may serve as a type of convenience store and/or sell items for boats. The manager said they have drinks and snacks, but "hadn't really stocked the shelves this summer".
The people at the marina, and island in general, are very kind. Customer service at the marina was above average. We did have an issue on the second day of the stay when the office did not open as scheduled. It was posted as opening at 8:00 am. but was still closed at 9:30, and we needed their help.
The island is a nature sanctuary. If you are looking for nature, peace and quiet this is your place. If you are not a nature lover (think mayflies, mosquitoes, biting flies), you may want to consider other locations. Tourist sights include the Pelee Island Winery, Stone House, Vin Villa and Pelee Island Lighthouse (you have to fight insects to reach it from land).
Not the most desirable marina, but if you want to visit Pelee Island with your own boat this is your only choice.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Stayed one night. The marina has a nice layout, floating docks, seems new or recently updated. There is no Wi-Fi and usable T-Mobile signal. At the head of the pier is the office/restroom building; the restrooms are functional. The office has some cold soda and snacky foods. In the immediate vicinity is the Shack Shop and Island General Store. A restaurant and LCBO are in the vicinity of the Stone house located about 6 miles from the marina. Transportation by bike which can be arranged from the Pelee Shop which also offers souvenirs and essential goods. Overall, a natural location that also be reached by ferry from Kingsville and Leamington.

OK, If you're looking for a night life and plenty of amenities, you'll be disappointed. We had a day trip up from Catawba Island. First time into the marina, FOLLOW YOUR CHARTS AND NAVIGATION AIDS. It's a little overwhelming first time in worrying about draft (even though the lake in 2019 was up).
We docked and got tied up. The dock boy was doing his best (young and a bit inexperienced, but listened to instruction well and could get you in safely and tied up.)
There is NOTHING at the marina, no bar, restaurant, etc... We weren't planning on any of that. We did rent bicycles and toured the island peddling (It's why we went). The bike place puts your bikes in the rack and you pick them up and leave them right there when you return.
We enjoyed the peace and quiet that Scudders brings. Typical friendly boater atmosphere.
Cindy helped us through customs calling and where the little ice cream store is located right off of the marina.
The docks are very well kept and electric was strong.
The reason for the 5 of 5 is that if you're looking for a place to relax and just kick back and have a great time, it's Scudder's. We are planning a rendezvous there in August of 2020 and sending a shuttle of our own over on the ferry from Sandusky Ohio. Plenty of B&Bs in the area for our non-boating friends.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

This is a quiet marina, with a gazebo you can cook/dine under. Friendly people. Bakery that is at least 4 star and Anchor & Wheel resturant also within walking distance. New marina manager is Pete.
When coming here please respect those who come also for the peace and quiet.
Restrooms and shower are not modern.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Step back in time. This Island is a reminder of how simple life was 30 years ago. Nice clean marina with friendly people and easy customs clearance
